Options include:

  • Synchronise all Emails Sent/Received to Dynamics.
  • Synchronise only Emails with an agreed Gmail Label.
  • Manually Synchronise Emails on a case by case basis.

Email Filtering
One of the biggest challenges with email filtering is ensuring that only relevant business related emails are synchronized with Microsoft Dynamics. We provide a number of options which can facilitate this:

  • Label Filtering - a predefined label is applied to any Gmail Email that is to be synchronized. This allows for a Gmail filter to automatically determine which Emails to synchronize. This also allows for quick manual filtering on any device.
  • Lead/Contact Filtering - only Gmail Emails that have sender/recipients who can be matched in Microsoft Dynamics are synchronized.
  • Contact Filter Field - only Gmail Emails that have sender/recipients who can be matched in Microsoft Dynamics with a Contact with a preset field value are synchronized.
  • Gmail Add-on - our Gmail Add-on is used to synchronize an email with Microsoft Dynamics. Our Add-on works on all clients including the Gmail mobile App.

Email Linking
When synchronizing emails the sender and all recipients are used to search and link to Contacts, Leads and Accounts. Where matches are made the generated Microsoft Dynamics Email is linked.

Attachments

iLink provides a number of attachment configuration options to ensure full control over which attachments make it into Microsoft Dynamics.

Options include:

  • Maximum file size setting
  • Include inline attachments
  • Ignore all attachments
  • Filter by file type

Labelling

iLink uses Gmail Labels to provide quick identification of which emails in the Inbox have been synchronised with Microsoft Dynamics.

iLink applies a Fail label where an email has that has been tagged for synchronization has not passed the email Filters configured.

The use of Labels ensures that users can see at a glance and control email synchronization across all email clients be it mobile, tablet or desktop.
